A Prayer of Thanks Above all let us give thanks to our Maker and Creator for granting us an extension to our lives so that we may celebrate and commemorate this time-honoured landmark, this legacy, this heritage, this signature of our forefathers, this guardian and sentinel of the past, this historical event--the 100th Anniversay of the Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Heritage Church. July 10, 2005 was set for the Anniversary celebrations, and what a beautiful day it turned out to be. As some people noted, even God smiled upon this church and blessed all with a sprinkle of rain. |
